about

Hi, I'm Charlotte! I am a writer and editor, and a child of New York City. I'm also a News Assistant at The New York Times.

Throughout my career so far, I have reported on politics and art for Capital News Service and contributed data reporting through the Howard Center for Investigative Journalism on the Nowhere to Go Project. I've written enterprise stories and reported on business news for publications and brands such as Skye, John Doe & Co (née Spike Society), Crew Me UpCablefax and more. As the Editorial Content Manager at Cynopsis, I co-wrote and edited the daily media briefing, long-form reports, Q&As with top executives and live event coverage. At The New York Times, I have contributed to breaking news and covered national headlines, such as how climate change impacts Native American Tribes in the Pacific Northwest, an ICE shooting in Maryland, a shooting at a Mormon Church in Michiganobstacles to Trump’s push to deport Minnesota Somalis and a snowstorm in New York City

Off-duty, you'll find me browsing covers at Casa Magazines, curating new recipes to try and making to-do lists.
